Quality Control (QC) Policy

Energetic Wears: 5-Stage Quality Assurance Protocol

Ensuring Every Piece Meets Global Export Standards

Stage 1: Pre-Production (Raw Material Inspection)

  • Leather Grade Audit: Visual inspection of every hide for natural defects (scars, tick marks, or holes) to ensure only “Grade A” sections are used for visible panels.
  • Color Consistency: Comparison of hides against the approved master sample using a light box to ensure shade continuity across the entire batch.
  • Thickness Verification: Digital caliper measurement to ensure the leather meets the specified thickness (e.g., 1.1mm – 1.3mm for motorbike gear).
  • Chemical Compliance: Verification that all hides are processed according to REACH standards (Chromium VI-free).

Stage 2: Precision Cutting & Sorting

  • Grain Alignment: Ensuring all panels are cut in the correct direction of the grain for maximum strength and drape.
  • Symmetry Check: Comparing left and right panels (sleeves, pockets, collars) to ensure they are identical in size and texture.
  • Hardware Prep: Inspection of zippers (YKK/Alpha), snaps, and rivets for finish quality and smooth operation.

Stage 3: In-Line Production (The Stitching Phase)

  • Stitch Density: Monitoring for a consistent 8–10 stitches per inch (or as specified by the tech pack).
  • Alignment Check: Ensuring seams are straight and that all reinforcements (back-tacking) are applied to high-stress points.
  • Lining Fit: Checking that the internal lining is seated correctly without bunching or pulling the outer leather.

Stage 4: Post-Production (Final Functional Test)

  • Hardware Stress Test: Opening and closing all zippers and snaps five times to ensure zero failure.
  • Measurement Audit: Comparing the finished garment against the Size Chart to ensure it stays within the +/- 1cm tolerance range.
  • Cleanliness: Removal of all loose threads, silver-pen marks (from cutting), and adhesive residues.

Stage 5: Finishing & Packaging

  • Ironing/Steaming: Proper professional pressing to remove transit wrinkles.
  • Labeling Check: Ensuring the correct Size, Care, and “Made in Pakistan” labels are securely attached.
  • Final Polish: A final hand-wipe with leather conditioner (if required) for a premium “out-of-the-box” luster.
  • Poly-Bagging: Individual packing in breathable bags to prevent moisture buildup during sea/air freight.
